According to the information received, the woman took this step because her husband snatched her mobile phone. The people of the locality told that there used to be many disputes between the woman and her husband regarding the mobile. People had already brought down the woman’s body from the noose before the police arrived. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, sealed the room and sent the body to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital for post-mortem.
Actually, on Friday evening the police had received information that a woman had hanged herself at her house in Panch Rasta Supela. When the police reached the spot, it was found that Rachna Sahu, wife of tiles mason Bhupendra Sahu, had committed suicide by hanging herself. During interrogation, Rachna’s husband Bhupendra Sahu told the police that she was married 6 years ago. There is also a 5 year old daughter. On Friday afternoon, he snatched Rachna’s mobile and kept it with himself and went out of the house. There were only mother, sister-in-law and their children in the house. About 4 hours later, at 7 pm, a call came from home that Rachna had hanged herself. When Bhupendra reached home, the dead body of his wife Rachna was lying in front of him and there was a noose of saree around her neck.
Bhupendra told that his wife Rachna used to work all day long on Instagram watching reels and making reels. She remained busy on her social media Facebook and WhatsApp throughout the day, due to which there used to be fights between the two. She also did not take proper care of her daughter. At present, the police have registered a case and started investigating the matter.
