Dantewada. A joint party of Bastar Fighter and DRG had left for Naxal operation from Camp Tumkpal under Katekalyan area of the district. During the operation, there was an encounter between the police party and Maoists in the jungle hill between Tumkapal and village Dabbakunna under Katekalyan. Three Naxalites have died in the encounter.
Let us tell you that there has been an encounter between police and soldiers in the forest hills of Tumkapal and Dabba Kunna. After the encounter, bodies of three uniformed male Maoists of Darbha Division have been recovered. Also, during the search, a huge amount of Naxal material including ammunition and weapons has been recovered.
DRG Bastar fighters and CAF, CRPF teams of Dantewada and Sukma districts are conducting search operations in the surrounding area. The incident has been confirmed by police department officials.
According to the information, the Naxalite killed during the encounter has been identified as LOS Commander Laxman Kohrami. On which the government had also kept a reward of Rs 5 lakh.
