Bilaspur. Police has taken major action against drugs. Ganja worth Rs 5 lakh has been seized from a smuggler. A case is being registered against the accused and further action is being taken. The accused also tried to dodge the police, but he could not succeed in his plans.
Let us tell you that Belgahna police has arrested a ganja smuggler with 50 kg of ganja. The accused drove to Chhattisgarh in his car to avoid police checking. Even after using fake registration number, he could not dodge it. The police surrounded and caught the accused.
Police have seized ganja filled in two white colored sacks from the car of the accused. The value of the seized ganja is estimated to be around Rs 5 lakh. Four mobile phones, voting identity card, Aadhar card and vehicle have also been seized from the arrested accused. The arrested accused has been identified as Manish, a resident of Haryana.
