The “Happy One Year” event was successfully organized at the Nalanda campus on the occasion of Good Governance Day.

Young people enthusiastically participated in the event; attractive gifts and discount vouchers were given for correctly answering questions.

Raipur, December 26, 2024 / On the birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna, Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the youth of the capital recited selected poems from his poetry collection, remembered his invaluable contribution to the establishment of Chhattisgarh state, and also expressed their views on his speech given in the United Nations for the first time in Hindi. This was the occasion of Good Governance Day being celebrated at the Nalanda campus in Raipur, on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Public Relations Department organized the ‘Happy One Year’ event at the Nalanda campus. Young people preparing for various competitive examinations at the Nalanda campus not only became acquainted with the life journey, poetry collection, and thoughts of the former Prime Minister, Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, but also became aware of the achievements and schemes of the state government in the last one year under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. Through entertainment and games, young people got a chance to learn a lot about their state. Even young people who were hesitant to express their views among others stopped being shy in the lighthearted atmosphere and happily participated in various activities.

Young people showed eagerness in correctly answering questions about the Mahatari Vandana Yojana, Niyada Nella Nar Yojana, Chief Minister’s Food Assistance Scheme, Krishak Unnati Yojana, tourism, Chhattisgarh dialects, jewelry, etc., implemented in the state. Questions related to minerals found in Chhattisgarh, folk art of the state, food, and glorious history were also asked during various activities, and during this time, young people who gave the correct answers were given various discount coupons and Bihan products as gifts. The 50% discount on the monthly fee of the library located at the Nalanda campus in the discount voucher also attracted the aspirants of competitive examinations. This further increased their enthusiasm, and they participated in the event with full enthusiasm until its end. It is noteworthy that this was the sixth such “Happy One Year” event. Earlier, the event was organized at various places in Raipur city, in which the youth participated with full interest and enthusiasm in the success of the event.
