A public interest litigation is being heard in the High Court regarding the poor traffic system in the entire state including Bilaspur. In this case, the court had summoned a reply from the Secretary of Urban Administration on an affidavit regarding the traffic system of the entire state. During the hearing, it came to light that a lot of trouble is being caused due to encroachment and haphazard driving and parking of vehicles.

During the hearing, the affidavit given by the Additional Superintendent of Police Traffic in the court states that monitoring will be done through CCTV cameras installed at the intersections in the Integrated Command and Control System. Actions are also being taken against violation of traffic rules, traffic personnel will also be present continuously at intersections and crowded areas. This information was given. On this, the court has sought a detailed reply on affidavit from the DG Traffic regarding the traffic system of the entire state.
