The invaluable contribution of the tribal society’s brave sons and daughters in liberating the nation: Chief Minister Shri Say.

Chief Minister Shri Say participated in the Chhattisgar Nagvanshi Samaj’s Gaurav Divas Mahasammelan.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Say, while addressing the Chhattisgarh-level Nagvanshi Samaj Mahasammelan held in Ghugri village, Bagicha development block, Jashpur district today, said, “Our country and society should always move forward with progressive thinking. The new generation of society should progress in the field of education and move towards entrepreneurship. For this, society should continuously encourage youth by remaining aware. Our esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi always emphasizes this unity. If we all remain united and are committed to serving Mother India, our state and country will be strong.”

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Say said that tribal society’s brave sons and daughters like Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Gundadhur, Rani Durgavati, and Veer Narayan, through their bravery, worked towards liberating the country. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the celebration of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas has been started to bring the glory of these great personalities of the tribal society to the people and to increase their respect. He said that a memorial dedicated to tribal warriors is being constructed in Nava Raipur to bring to light the contributions of these martyrs, which have been lost to the pages of history. This memorial will also describe the 13 great battles fought by the tribal heroes of Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Shri Say announced the construction of a community building in Ghugri at a cost of 50 lakhs, construction of a bridge in Khada Nala, renovation of the Vyapvartana Yojana in Dhodki, and construction of a Mangal Bhavan in Bagicha at a cost of one crore rupees. Fulfilling a long-standing demand of the Nagvanshi Samaj, he granted a community forest rights patta to protect their Devbhoomi in Ghugri. Along with this, the Chief Minister also provided caste certificates to 40 children who were deprived due to quantitative errors. In the program, Chief Minister Shri Say offered prayers to the Nagvanshi Samaj’s deities, Lord Mahadev-Parvati and Nag Dev, and wished for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state.

Chief Minister Shri Say, remembering former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, said that it was he who first established the Adimjati Kalyan Vibhag for the welfare and upliftment of the tribal community. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the PM Janman Yojana is being run for the upliftment of specially backward tribal people, through which work is being done for the welfare of specially backward tribal people, considered the adopted sons of the President, in the areas of electricity, water, ration distribution, housing, health, Ayushman card creation, etc.

Smt. Gomati Say, Vice-President of the Sarguja Vikas Pradhikaran and MLA Pathalgaon, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Say, the double-engine government has given double the speed to the development of the state. Continuous work is being done by our tribal Chief Minister for the upliftment of the tribal society. The program was attended by Sitapur MLA Shri Ramkumar Toppo, Zilla Panchayat Vice-President Upendra Yadav, public representative Krishna Kumar Rai, the president of the Nagvanshi Samaj, and a large number of dignitaries.
