The driver of the Mineral Department vehicle was injured in the attack. In this case, Arang police has registered a case under various sections against the accused Golu Diwan, Raju Ogre, Rishabh, Dinesh and others. It is being told that accused Golu Diwan is considered close to Arang MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb. At present all the accused are absconding. Arang police is busy searching for the accused.
The incident happened on Tuesday night. The team of Mineral Department had received information about illegal sand mining in Hardidih Sandghat of Arang. On this, the team of Mineral Department reached the spot and started taking action against illegal sand mining. During this, accused Golu Diwan, Raju Ogre, Rishabh, Dinesh and others attacked the team of Mineral Department. The team of the Mineral Department was frightened by the sudden attack and somehow managed to escape with their lives.
Arang police busy searching for the accused
In this attack, the driver of the Mineral Department vehicle got injured while trying to intervene. As soon as information about the incident was received, Arang police station in-charge SN Singh reached the spot with his team and by the time the accused had left the place. On Wednesday, top officials of the Mineral Department reached Arang police station and lodged a complaint against the accused. Arang police has registered a case against accused Golu Diwan, Raju Ogre, Rishabh, Dinesh and others under sections 186, 294, 332, 341, 353, 506. At present all the accused are absconding. Arang police has started searching for the accused. Let us tell you that these days almost all the sand mines of Arang area are being operated illegally, on which action is also being taken by the Mineral Department. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after this incident.
