The Union Cabinet approved the houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, CM Sai expressed gratitude, said- the needy will have a permanent roof over their heads

Raipur. The Union Cabinet has approved the target of housing for 8,46,931 families under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin. On this, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. CM Sai said that this approval will soon free people from kutcha houses in rural areas and the needy will have a concrete roof over their heads.

CM Sai wrote on his social media account X that under the able leadership of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Union Cabinet has approved the target of housing for the remaining 6,99,331 families in the permanent waiting list prepared on the basis of SECC 2011 data under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin and 1,47,600 families out of 8,19,999 families of Awas Plus, thus a total of 8,46,931 families.

This approval given by the Modi government with the objective of providing permanent houses to the poor and needy in the state will soon free the people from kutcha houses in the rural areas and the needy will have a permanent roof over their heads.
