Governing Council meeting held under DMF
Korba 29 March 2025/Chhattisgarh Government of Commerce Industry and Labor Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan held a meeting of the Governor Council of District Mineral Institute Trust in the Collectorate Hall today. The meeting approved the progress of the work done in the financial year 2024-25 and approval of the action plan for the upcoming financial year 2025-26. During this, MLA Katghora Shri Premchand Patel, MLA Pali-Tanakhar area Mr. Tuleshwar Singh Markam, MLA Rampur Shri Phool Singh Rathia, District Panchayat President Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Mayor Mrs. Sanju Devi Rajput and other members and ex-officio Chairman Mr. Ajit Vasant, Forest Officer Katghora Shri Kumar Nishant, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Mr. Ashutosh Pandey, District Panchayat CE Dinesh Pandey, Additional Collector SDM Korba Mr. Saroj Mahilang and other public representatives and departmental officers were present.
In the meeting, after discussing various agendas under DMF, Minister Shri Dewangan said that development work in the district from DMF is being done with the fulfillment of public expectations. Public interest works including education, health, agricultural infrastructure in the district have been given priority in the proposal, they directed all departmental officers to regular review of the approved works, so that the construction work can be completed within the time limit as well as directed to take special care of quality in construction. He said that provision is also made in the budget for many development works. For this, all the officers should prepare estimates for approval in the budget of departmental works and send it for timely approval. Minister Shri Dewangan said that the development work is being implemented better by the district administration. While working towards water magnification and accumulation in the district, he instructed to pay special attention to the renovation of the ponds constructed along with the approval of the construction of new ponds. The cabinet minister said that public representatives and officials work for the development of their area. The administrative officers and public representatives including the collector should delay with mutual coordination so that the district can grow quickly. In the meeting of the governing council, Minister Shri Dewangan discussed the proposals for development works received from departments and public representatives and said that proposals related to the development of the district would be given priority. MLA Katghora Shri Premchand Patel said that the development work of DMF should be used in the work. Whatever work will be done, quality attention should be ensured. With the use of the amount of the item, he talked about raising the educational level and making efforts towards creating maximum employment opportunities. MLA Pali Tanakhar Shri Tuleshwar Markam talked about providing drinking water supply in rural areas on priority. In the meeting, MLA Rampur Shri Phool Singh Rathia and District Panchayat President Dr. Pawan Singh, Mayor Smt. Rajput proposed development works in their respective areas and said in the meeting, to speed up education, health, infrastructure and other development works in the district and resolve the problems of the people of the area.
Collector Shri Ajit Vasant gave detailed information about the meeting under the governance council. He said that in the financial year 2025-26 action plan, in addition to education, health, urban field development and infrastructure construction works have been given priority. Along with this, the initiative taken through DMF to connect teachers, doctors and other important posts on vacant posts in the field of education and health, initiative to improve the education system in the district, renovation of school, Anganwadi building, renovation of Anganwadi building, nutritious dust is being provided before the school starts in all the primary and secondary schools of the district. Along with this, gas cylinders and refilling have been arranged to prepare food in all schools, Anganwadi centers, ashrams and houses. Coaching of NEET-JEE has been made to talented students. Honorarium teachers have been appointed against the vacant posts of teachers in schools. He gave detailed information regarding the proposals called by the departments on the basis of demand and important needs of the people and public representatives. He informed in the meeting that such villages in the district where no work has been approved for the last three years is being given priority for development work from DMF. Development works will also be done in such villages in the coming days.
Discussion regarding important works done in the year 2024-25
In the meeting, District Panchayat CEO Mr. Dinesh Nag gave information related to the important work of the financial year 2024-25 with information related to the District Mineral Institute Trust and the approval and activities of the action plan for the upcoming financial year 2025-26. In the meeting of the Governing Council, the District Mineral Institute Trust Rules 2015, Information regarding direct and indirect area, information in payment of amount, information of receipt and expenditure under DMF, information of the audit edited by Audit Auditors, information of complete and vacant posts in DMF office, information of review of DMF works, DMF work, DMF information, 2024-25-25-255 Information, information about important works done in 2024-25, important proposed work for action plan in the financial year 2025-26, information of unarmed and incomplete works, information about the work done under the approval under the District Mineral Trust, information about the important work proposed for approval approval in financial year 2025-26 was provided. Under the high priority sector, work will be done on priority in the fields of drinking water supply, enhancement, health, education, women and child development, old and disabled public welfare, skill development and livelihood creation, sanitation, housing, agriculture, animal husbandry. Similarly, other priority sector includes physical infrastructure, irrigation, energy and water development development and other works.
In many important works done in the year 2024-25 under the District Mineral Trust, under the physical infrastructure, 935.44 lakhs for the construction of Shyang Marg under Physical Infrastructure, 98.23 lakhs for the renovation of Matin Marg to Matin Marg from Podi Uparoda to Matin Marg, 29 lakh for construction of CC Road from Devpari to Govindjhunjhu, 29 lakhs, Malikhaiha to Maliakhaiha to construction 3.27 crore for the for electrification in various Mazratolo Anganwadi, including other works including other works. In the health sector, Primary Health Centers include 16.65 crore for residential system, 11 crore for state -of -the -art City scan machine 128 slices, 9.90 crore for sub -health center building, 2.25 crore for PHC building construction work, 2.25 crore for construction work work, 6.86 crore for honorarium of specialist surgery paramedical staff and other recruitment staff, 3.38 crore for honorarium of medical college medical teachers. Similarly, in the financial year 2025-26, information was also given about the important proposed works presented by all the departments for the action plan. Along with this, all the public representatives were requested to send a proposal for approval of important works related to the development of the area.
