Bijapur. A tragic incident has happened during the first phase of voting in Bastar Lok Sabha. CRPF jawan injured in UBGL cell explosion in Usur police station area has died. A team of experts has been sent to inspect and investigate the incident site of Galgam. After all the action taken by deceased CRPF constable Devendra Kumar (32 years), resident of Dhobiguda, district Bastar, his last rites will be performed at his home village Dhobiguda tomorrow i.e. on 20th April.
According to the information received, CRPF 196th Corps constable Devendra Kumar was injured due to accidental UBGL cell explosion during the area domination operation in Security Camp Galgam area of Usur police station under Bijapur today. The injured soldier was brought to Jagdalpur Medical College with the help of air ambulance (air ambulance helicopter) for better treatment. But the soldier died during treatment.
