Under the leadership of Raipur Railway Division Sanjeev Kumar (DRM Raipur Sanjeev Kumar), chairs may not have been installed for passenger facilities at the division’s only A-1 category railway station… but the chairs that were installed here have also disappeared and the railway officials have placed dustbins there instead of installing chairs.
The condition of Raipur railway station is getting worse these days. The condition of platform number 1 is such that the railway officials are not able to provide chairs for the passengers to sit. There are many sets of 3-person seating in which 1 chair has disappeared.
The railway officials neither got it repaired nor made any other arrangement for the passengers to sit in its place. For show, separate arrangements have been made for women to sit, but there is a shortage of chairs here too.
The condition of the seating arrangement for men is also worse. Broken and crooked chairs have been placed here. Passengers may suffer back pain after sitting on them.
