Newly elected president Srikanth Pandey, Vice President Mrs. Shanti Devcharan Bhaskar and members took oath in the first insertion of the District Panchayat held today at Mungeli District Collectorate. Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Mr. Tokhan Sahu and Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw first attended the eclipse ceremony as the chief guest. MLAs Mr. Punnulal Mohle and Mr. Dharamlal Kaushik were present at the ceremony as special guests. Ms. Bhumika Desai, Deputy Director of Panchayat and Rural Development, administered the oath to the newly elected president, vice president and members of the District Panchayat.

Addressing the first insertion of Mungeli District Panchayat, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Shri Tokhan Sahu asked all the newly elected public representatives to work to reach the public’s benefits to the public. Through various schemes of the government, the light of development reached the end of the district and the person standing in the last position should get the benefit. No eligible beneficiary should be deprived of the scheme. He urged the maximum number of citizens to attend the program of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to be held on March 30 in village Mohabhatta in Bilaspur district.

Addressing the newly elected public representatives, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw hoped that all the newly elected representatives will meet the trust in the panchayat elections and will further further the development of the district under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. He asked to work with a resolve to take Mungeli district to the top position in the state in spreading all the schemes of the government to the people. Mr. Saw congratulated and congratulated everyone on being elected unopposed president and vice -president in the three district panchayats peacefully and being elected unopposed in the three district panchayats.
MLA Punnulal Mohle and Dharamlal Kaushik also addressed the first insertion of Mungeli District Panchayat.
