There are dark clouds in the sky even in the capital Raipur and surrounding districts.
According to information, there is a trough from north-west Rajasthan to south Assam via Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal. There is a cyclone at a height of 1.5 km in and around Madhya Pradesh. Due to this system moisture is coming from the sea. Due to this it is raining in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Whose effect is visible in Chhattisgarh also. Today, the Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in Surguja, Jashpur, Balrampur, Bilaspur, Pendra, Raigarh, Mungeli, Korba, Janjgir, Raipur, Baloda Bazar, Gariaband, Dhamtari, Mahasamund, Durg, Balod, Bemetra, Kabirdham, Rajnandgaon.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in many areas of Chhattisgarh for the next 5 days. Meteorologists say that from May 13, rain, storm and lightning activities will increase, its effect will be visible in all divisions of the state. The same situation will remain in the state till May 15.
