New Delhi: The federal government is planning to have a typical retirement age on the rank of Colonel within the Military and its equivalents within the Navy and the Air Drive, stated a report. 
The Division of Navy Affairs headed by the Chief of Defence Employees, Basic Bipin Rawat is inspecting the dual proposal of first standardization of the age of retirement at Colonel rank, which varies in all three providers, and second, the obligations allotted to re-employed officers, stated the report printed in a Hindi every day.  
The retirement age for Colonels in Military is 54 years whereas its equal Captain within the Navy retires at 56 and Group Captains in IAF retire on the age of 57. 
Based on the report, The proposal is to standardise the retirement age throughout the three providers as a special algorithm can’t be utilized. 
Within the second case, the obligations of re-employed officers are below view as when the retiring officer seeks the employment for 2 extra years, the Colonel is paid the wage of his rank, however is given the work-responsibility of a Main, two ranks beneath.
The report additional stated that the proposal is to get the re-employed officer to do the duty mandated on the stage of Colonel since there isn’t a logic in paying the wage of a Colonel to a reemployed officer and process him with a Main’s work.
