Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel during ‘Jan Choupal-Bhent Mulakaath’ programme at his official residence on Wednesday presented school bags, gifts and other educational materials to two minor daughters of women jail inmates of Central Jail, Raipur. Both have been admitted to a private residential school at Abhanpur.
Raipur Collector S Bharatidasan during inspection of Central Jail, Raipur had found these two girls were studying at a school in jail premises. In a bid to bring them out of the four-walls of jail, he took the initiative to get these girls admitted in a residential school. The school had taken the responsibility of their boarding and education.
Chief Minister handing over to them the bags and other presents wished them a bright future. He also appreciated the efforts of the private school authority for taking responsibility to educate the two girls.
