New Delhi: The Chanakyapuri sub-divisional Justice of the Peace (SDM) has ordered the closure of Delhi’s well-known Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in view of alleged violation of COVID-19 norms, PTI reported. 
The order, issued on September 16, states that the report filed by government Justice of the Peace (Chanakyapuri) discovered that the administration of Bangla Sahib Gurudwara “allowed guests/prayers contained in the Gurudwara” in violation of  Delhi Catastrophe Administration Authority (DDMA) pointers. 
The order additional directed the administration of Bangla Sahib Gurudwara to be closed for guests with rapid impact.

We condemn this sick mentality of Delhi Govt & demand @ArvindKejriwal Ji to take strictest motion towards involved DC & SDM Geeta Grover.”
He added that the order was issued to shut the gurudwara which has aided individuals through the second coronavirus wave and lockdown by organising ‘langar’ (free meals service) and organising beds for sufferers.
