Indian cinema’s box office arena is currently a mix of triumphs and steady performances. ‘Tere Ishk Mein,’ the latest directorial venture by Aanand L Rai, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has emerged as a major box office success. The film swiftly crossed the ₹50 crore milestone in just three days, demonstrating immense audience appeal.
While ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ celebrates its massive opening, other releases are navigating a more subdued box office environment. ‘Gustaakh Ishq,’ featuring Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh, and ‘120 Bahadur,’ starring Farhan Akhtar, are performing averagely. However, Ajay Devgn’s ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ continues its strong run, showing a minor increase in its seventeenth-day collection, which stood at ₹1.40 crore. This brings its overall earnings to ₹71.10 crore.
Industry trackers indicate that ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ amassed ₹51.75 crore by Sunday, including a significant ₹18 crore on the final day of the weekend. ‘Gustaakh Ishq’ managed to earn ₹1.16 crore in total, with a ₹0.21 crore collection on Sunday. ‘120 Bahadur’ has garnered ₹16.94 crore, earning ₹0.79 crore on its tenth day. The competition remains fierce, but ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ has undeniably captured the box office spotlight.
