The highly anticipated film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par,’ starring Aamir Khan and directed by R.S. Prasanna, has received the green light from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film, which delves into the lives of specially-abled children, faced a hurdle when the CBFC suggested certain cuts. Aamir Khan, however, initially opposed these cuts, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the film’s original vision. The CBFC has now cleared the film for release on June 20, 2025. The film is a remake of the Spanish film ‘Champions’ (2018) and features Genelia Deshmukh in a prominent role.
