The latest installment of the ‘Jolly LLB’ franchise, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, has been well-received by audiences, demonstrating a strong performance at the box office. Early estimates indicate that ‘Jolly LLB 3’ earned ₹4.25 crore on its sixth day of release, bringing the total collection to ₹69.75 crore. The film presents a courtroom drama centered around the characters of Jolly Mishra and Jolly Tyagi, who find themselves in opposition before Judge Tripathi as they tackle a new case. The original ‘Jolly LLB’ introduced Arshad Warsi as Jolly Tyagi and saw him grapple with the hit-and-run case of six laborers. ‘Jolly LLB 2’ featured Akshay Kumar as Jagdishwar Mishra, a lawyer seeking justice for a victim of a fake encounter involving a corrupt police officer. The movie was released in 2017 and also featured Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, and Kumud Mishra. The film also competed with Anurag Kashyap’s directorial ‘Nishaanchi’ at the box office.
