Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey, reflecting on her career, which spans over a decade, has shared the screen with various actresses. In a recent interview, Dubey addressed the topic of competition in the film industry, specifically within the Bhojpuri cinema. She was asked about which actress she considers a rival and if she experiences any difficulties with her colleagues. In an interview with BaatKuchen, Dubey elaborated on her journey, her equation with other actors and actresses, and who she believed could surpass her. Dubey said, “I feel a good script is the biggest competition. Any actress can deliver an amazing performance with a good script and can beat me. The script is the most important thing in a film, and that’s my competition. If someone else gets a good script, they can beat me.” She was further questioned about her acceptance of a potential loss to a younger actress, to which she responded, “That’s the reality of the world. Nothing lasts forever. If I am doing well and working hard, then someone else is also doing it. If they do better than me, I shouldn’t feel bad. I’ve learned this from the Gita.” When asked if she feels jealous of any other Bhojpuri actress, Dubey replied, “I have good relationships with all of them. We can’t achieve anything by being jealous. We’re all working in the same industry, so there should be no jealousy.”
