A fire broke out on the set of the television show ‘Anupamaa’ in Mumbai’s Film City on Monday morning. The blaze, which occurred at the Goregaon East location, was reported to the fire brigade at 6:10 AM. The area affected was around 5,000 square feet, including the studio’s tent area. Despite the extensive damage to equipment and materials such as electric wiring, plastics, iron items, decorations, cameras, costumes, and lighting systems, there were no reported injuries. Shahi Production, the producers of ‘Anupamaa’, released an official statement confirming the incident and assuring that all set staff and security personnel were safe. They urged the public to avoid spreading misinformation and await official updates. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the authorities. The production house also expressed its gratitude for the support from the industry. The AICWA has demanded a thorough investigation by the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
