The long-standing rumor of a professional rift between Salman Khan and Arijit Singh has been definitively resolved, with Khan confirming the popular singer’s involvement in his forthcoming movie, ‘The Battle of Galwan’. During a segment on Bigg Boss 19, a lighthearted comment by comedian Ravi Gupta about Arijit Singh’s resemblance to Salman and their supposed rivalry provided the superstar with an opportunity to clear the air. Salman Khan clarified that the past misunderstanding was entirely his own and that he and Arijit are now good friends. He confirmed that Arijit has recorded songs for him in ‘Tiger 3’ and will be a significant contributor to the soundtrack of ‘The Battle of Galwan’. The controversy traces back to 2014 when a remark made by Salman at an awards show reportedly upset Arijit. Despite Arijit’s attempts to mend fences, including a deleted Facebook apology in 2016, the tension persisted. A public reconciliation was first hinted at in late 2023 when Arijit visited Salman’s home, a meeting that followed Arijit’s vocal contributions to ‘Tiger 3’.
