Assam CM Provides Update on Zubeen Garg Death Probe, Viscera Report Due Soon

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma provided an update on the ongoing investigation into the death of Zubeen Garg. The viscera examination report is slated for release on October 10, with further details expected by October 11. He stated that police are diligently recording all witness statements, understanding that these statements represent various perspectives. The Chief Minister addressed recent media reports about poisoning, clarifying that these reports stem from an accused’s statement rather than official police findings. Sarma also urged the Assamese community to encourage the return of key suspects from Singapore, stressing their importance in the investigation. He highlighted the crucial role these individuals played in Zubeen Garg’s yacht trip and the potential consequences of their continued absence.
