Bigg Boss 19’s inaugural captaincy task has been introduced to the housemates, with all the rules explained. However, the first task immediately ignited conflict. The house was seen divided during the captaincy task. Each round resulted in the elimination of a contestant. The contestants started strategizing for the task. Zeeshan had an argument with Tanya, calling her out for pretending to be Mother Teresa.
The first buzzer went off, and the contestants raced to the garden. After the first round, Basir evicted house number 2, including Amal Malik and Mridul Tiwari. Zeeshan joked with Amal, asking who would pick up the slippers, with Amal responding that the captain would, to laughter all around.
The second buzzer then sounded. Basir, Amal, and Mridul, joined by Aavez, Nagma, and Natalia, decided to demolish a house. Basir and Aavez then discussed eliminating Abhishek Bajaj, Praneet, Gaurav, and Zeeshan from the captaincy. The third round commenced, with the eliminated contestants deciding which house to target.
They ultimately decided to dismantle Neelam’s house. In the fourth round, the contestants re-engaged in the merry-go-round, redistributing themselves among the houses. Basir revealed his intention to eliminate Tanya and Praneet from the game. Zeeshan strategized with Basir and the others, aiming to prevent Abhishek or Gaurav from becoming captain. Following the fifth round, Basir declared that the room of Zeeshan, Nehal, and Gaurav would be emptied.
Bigg Boss announced the conclusion of the captaincy task, revealing Kunika, Abhishek, and Ashnoor as the contenders for the first captaincy. Later, Tanya became emotional, missing her mother. She expressed on camera that she felt unappreciated and tired of dishwashing. She later shared with Kunika that Gaurav was supporting Ashnoor for the captaincy, which angered Kunika.
