Mumbai’s Juhu erupted in festive glory Tuesday at JVPD ground, where television stars gathered for a grand Holi kickoff. The venue pulsed with music, laughter, and vibrant hues as industry favorites celebrated together.
Leading the pack was Aakansha Puri, the Bhojpuri actress whose Holi visit doubled as a launchpad for exciting news. Her new movie drops Wednesday, she confirmed in a lively interview. ‘I always stick around for Mumbai’s Holi—it’s in a league of its own,’ she said. ‘Love catching up with everyone, and this edition’s magical with the film premiere ahead. Super pumped!’
Evoking heartfelt memories, Aakansha described Indore’s youthful escapades. ‘Jalebis, poha, samosas on every corner; we’d chase friends into water tanks amid the chaos. Adulthood makes those days bittersweet.’
Anupamaa’s Adrijja Roy joined, balancing sentiment with celebration. ‘Hometown Holi tugs at the heart, but Mumbai’s held me for four years running,’ she reflected cheerfully.
Actor Aman Gandhi was visibly hyped. ‘Favorite festival by far—preparations kicked off last night,’ he grinned. ‘Gujiya is the true star; colors secondary. Bhaang’s off my menu.’
Awarded DJ Shahdo traveled from Dubai for the occasion. ‘Holi inspires my music; it’s a heartfelt fiesta,’ he noted, poised to elevate the atmosphere with his sets.
As revelers danced into the evening, the event captured Holi’s essence: unity, indulgence, and star-powered spectacle.
