Delhi Man Killed in Parking Row: Cousin of Actress Huma Qureshi Victim of Fatal Attack

Asif Qureshi, cousin to Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, was fatally attacked in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area following a dispute over parking. The event unfolded on Thursday evening around 11 PM in Jangpura Bhogal Lane, as reported by police sources. The altercation, which involved Asif and a group of men, stemmed from the parking of a two-wheeler. The argument escalated into a physical confrontation, resulting in an attack on Asif. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Family members expressed their belief that the attack was carried out with extreme brutality over a seemingly trivial matter. Asif’s wife, Sainaz Qureshi, provided a statement to the police, indicating that past disagreements had taken place between her husband and the individuals involved in the parking dispute. She detailed that Asif had asked his neighbors to remove their vehicle, which was obstructing the entrance to his residence. This request was met with verbal abuse, followed by a violent attack using sharp weapons. Authorities have launched an investigation, registering a case and pursuing the suspects, who fled the scene after the incident.
