Examining ‘Chamku’: A 17-Year Retrospective

Director Kabeer Kaushik’s ‘Chamku,’ the second film in his directorial venture, features Bobby Deol in the leading role of Chamku. The film opens with the tragic murder of Chandrama Singh’s family, prompting his indoctrination into a Maoist group led by Danny Denzongpa. Chamku, known for his solemnity, later becomes a government agent, a turn facilitated by Irrfan Khan.
