गौरव

Actor Gaurav Gera turned host for Farah Khan’s food vlog, welcoming her and Dilip into his Mumbai abode for a mix of cooking, tours, and tell-alls. From his television highs, including Chutki sketches on The Kapil Sharma Show, to current projects, Gaurav laid it all bare.

Surprisingly, his rare showings were by design. ‘Limited episodes because I aspire to be a guest one day. I won’t do comedy there,’ he shared with Farah. The character, born in 15 seconds from ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin’ days, carries a nod to Sharmila Tagore’s timbre.

‘Dhurandhar’ chatter brought up vanity van controversies involving Ranveer Singh. Gaurav vouched for simplicity on Aditya Dhar’s set. ‘No such luxury overload,’ he said, echoing denials of prior three-van stories.

Farah, impressed by Ranveer, jested, ‘Post-film, hand over five vans for that talent.’ Gaurav corrected, ‘Far fewer than that.’ Her comeback: ‘Grant his wishes anyway.’

Embodying Mohammad Alam in Lyari’s undercover scene, Gaurav’s performance promises thrills. The vlog served up more than meals—it delivered authenticity, debunked myths, and revealed an actor’s savvy navigation of fame.
