Actress and model Shefali Jariwala, recognized for her appearance on Bigg Boss 13 in 2019, has passed away in Mumbai at the age of 42. Known widely as the ‘Kaanta Laga Girl,’ she reportedly suffered a fatal cardiac arrest late on June 27. She was promptly taken to Bellevue Multispeciality hospital by her husband, Parag Tyagi, and three companions. Initial medical assessments suggest that Jariwala was declared deceased shortly after being brought to the hospital, notwithstanding attempts at treatment. Hospital staff verified the sad news, mentioning she had already passed away before her arrival. This sudden loss has deeply affected the Bollywood community, eliciting expressions of shock and grief. Shefali Jariwala achieved stardom in the early 2000s through her performance in the iconic remix of ‘Kaanta Laga,’ becoming a household name. She later featured in Salman Khan’s ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ and participated in TV shows like Nach Baliye (Seasons 5 & 7), earning praise for openly addressing mental health and personal struggles.
