The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London hosted Arijit Singh on September 5th. The concert was a landmark event, making him the first Indian artist to headline a UK stadium, with a large crowd in attendance to enjoy his setlist, which included hits like ‘Saiyaara,’ ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan,’ ‘Rasiya,’ ‘Ami Je Tomar,’ and ‘Sapphire.’ The performance, spanning over two hours, was brought to an abrupt halt at 10:30 pm due to curfew regulations, which resulted in the power being switched off. Videos shared online showed Arijit performing ‘Deva Deva’ from Brahmastra when the music ceased, catching fans by surprise as fireworks illuminated the sky. Attendees reported that Arijit had asked for an extra 20 minutes to conclude the show, but the power was cut before he could offer a proper farewell. A subsequent video displayed the stadium in darkness as unhappy fans departed, the show ending without a final goodbye.
