Dosanjh has recorded a song for the film, sharing his enthusiasm through an Instagram post. He lauded Shetty’s work, referring to the original Kantara as a masterpiece, and expressed a personal connection to the project. In his social media post, he shared a video showcasing the recording process. Dosanjh recalled his emotional experience during the song “Varaha Roopam” in the original film. Kantara: Chapter 1 is scheduled to release on October 2nd, 2025. Shetty shared the video on X (formerly Twitter), celebrating the collaboration, and highlighting the spiritual connection between Dosanjh and the film. The news has ignited excitement among fans, many of whom are hailing the partnership as a significant moment. The upcoming film is a prequel to the 2022 box-office hit, Kantara. Directed by and starring Rishab Shetty, Kantara: Chapter 1 is a period drama set during the Kadamba dynasty of Banavasi.
