The film industry mourns the loss of Partho Ghosh, a veteran filmmaker who died at the age of 75 on Monday. The cause of death was reported to be heart-related. Ghosh was renowned for directing commercially successful movies, including ‘100 Days,’ ‘Teesra Kaun,’ and ‘Agni Sakshi.’ He commenced his journey in the film industry as an assistant director. His directorial debut, ‘100 Days,’ released in 1991, marked his entry into the limelight. ‘Dalaal,’ released in 1993, further solidified his position as a prominent director. Ghosh directed over 15 films during his career. His last film, ‘Mausam Ikrar Ke Do Pal Pyar Ke,’ was released in 2018. He leaves behind his wife, Gouri.
