The shooting of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’ was disrupted in Prayagraj after a confrontation between the film’s crew and local residents turned violent. The incident took place on August 27th on Thornhill Road during the filming of a car scene. The production head, Zoheb Solapurwala, representing BR Chopra Films, was reportedly attacked. Following the incident, an FIR was lodged at Civil Lines Police Station on August 28th, based on a complaint from line producer Saurabh Tiwari. The primary individual accused, Meraj Ali, has been taken into custody. Videos capturing the event show locals arguing with the crew before a physical fight ensued. Despite attempts by some to mediate, others participated in the assault, leading to chaos on the set. The filmmakers have not yet released any official comments regarding the situation.
