‘I feel immense pride as an Indian at this summit,’ Pednekar told journalists, expressing delight before heading to a panel on AI’s ethical and social dimensions. She lauded the expo as a vital arena for India’s tech showcase.
Highlighting AI’s reach to all societal layers via judicious application, Pednekar aligned with the event’s vision for responsible innovation.
Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Karnataka Digital Economy Mission’s head, celebrated his state’s vanguard role. Projects in e-governance, healthcare, agriculture, and startups underscored Bengaluru’s AI supremacy.
‘We’re focusing on three pillars,’ Gupta explained: AI’s governance impact with ongoing initiatives, entrepreneurial innovation, and ecosystem development through global engagements and meetings. Karnataka advances skill-building, ethical AI norms, and cross-border partnerships.
Attended by over 30 countries’ envoys, 300+ exhibitors, and AI pioneers, and inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi, the summit drives AI toward humanitarian goals, broad-based development, and ecological sustainability.
