Shamita Shetty, sister of actress Shilpa Shetty, has opened up about the effects of her participation in Bigg Boss OTT. She admitted that the show, though providing recognition, took a toll on her mental well-being. The actress shared that the intense environment within the Bigg Boss house led to significant stress after the show ended. She also noted that the blurring of lines between reality and imagination deeply affected her. She elaborated, stating, “My reality and imagination had merged, intertwined, causing a lot of confusion in my mind.” Describing the escalating anxiety after the show, she said, “I became very restless as soon as I came out. I was already struggling with anxiety, so it created more difficulties for me. I think I also became a bit aggressive as soon as I came out, and I think the housemates did the same to me. Because I was constantly fighting.”
