Rubina Dilaik: Exploring the Career of a Television Icon

Rubina Dilaik is a well-known face in the Indian television world, admired for her beauty. Celebrating her 38th birthday, Dilaik’s journey began in Shimla, where she was born. Her initial foray into the entertainment industry was through beauty pageants, with the Miss Shimla title in 2006 being a significant achievement. She continued to win accolades in various beauty contests during her school and college years. Dilaik holds a degree in English Literature and a postgraduate degree in Political Science. In 2008, she was crowned Miss North India. During her time in Chandigarh, while preparing for the IAS exam, she auditioned for a television role. This led to her selection for the lead role of Radhika in the popular show ‘Choti Bahu’. This show premiered in 2009. She rose to fame with this role and continued to appear in numerous successful television series. Dilaik won ‘Bigg Boss 14’ in 2020 and participated in reality shows such as ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 12’, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’, ‘Laughter Chef’, and ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’. Dilaik made her Bollywood debut in 2020 with the short film ‘Bareilly Ki Beti’. She has also been part of films like ‘Ardh’ and ‘Chal Bhaj Chaliye’. She married Abhinav Shukla and has two daughters.
