Salman Khan is undergoing rigorous training for his next film, believed to be based on the Galwan Valley conflict between India and China in June 2020. Apoorva Lakhia is directing the film, which will see Salman portraying the character of Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu, a soldier who lost his life in the Galwan Valley clash. Determined to excel in this role, Salman has initiated an extensive fitness program focusing on physical conditioning and high-altitude acclimatization. Salman trains for four hours each day, utilizing circuit training to enhance different muscle groups. This comprehensive training aims to build strength, stamina, and improve cardiovascular fitness, which is crucial for navigating high-altitude settings. Since the film is primarily set in Ladakh, the actor is also working to adapt to the lower oxygen levels characteristic of such locations. The goal is to simulate and prepare his body for the demanding conditions of filming in the region. The actor may use altitude simulation equipment or join an altitude training studio to maintain peak physical condition in his upcoming role. The director, Apoorva Lakhia, will finalize Salman Khan’s appearance in July, with the film’s shooting schedule planned to begin in August 2025. Besides this, Salman Khan has another action movie with Sanjay Dutt.
