Following his impressive 2023 box office performance, Shah Rukh Khan has given fans a glimpse into his next project, ‘King’. Responding to questions on X, Khan revealed that shooting is restarting soon, with leg shots being the immediate focus. The actor indicated that he hopes for a swift completion, crediting director Siddharth Anand’s efforts. The film has reportedly been delayed due to an on-set injury sustained by Khan. According to sources, ‘King’ might now be slated for a 2027 release, pushing back the initial Gandhi Jayanti 2026 target. The film’s action-oriented nature has prompted the production team to prioritize Khan’s health. The film is expected to boast a prominent cast, featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.
