Responding to persistent rumors linking her to a businessman from Chandigarh, actress Trisha Krishnan has humorously shut down the speculation. Through an Instagram story post on Friday, the celebrated actress playfully commented, ‘I love when people plan my life for me. Just waiting for them to schedule the honeymoon too.’ This sarcastic retort comes after certain media reports falsely claimed that Trisha was set to marry a businessman from Chandigarh, even asserting that their families were acquainted. Such unfounded gossip has unfortunately become a recurring theme for the actress. Trisha, a leading lady in the South Indian film industry, has navigated a busy professional schedule alongside recent personal anxieties. Not long ago, her home was the subject of a bomb threat, prompting an extensive search by the authorities that ultimately revealed the threat to be a hoax. Despite these distractions, Trisha’s filmography continues to expand with exciting projects. She is set to star opposite the legendary Chiranjeevi in director Vassishta’s upcoming socio-fantasy film ‘Vishwambhara.’ Furthermore, she is playing the female lead in Suriya’s next venture, ‘Karuppu,’ an action-packed film directed by R J Balaji. ‘Vishwambhara,’ anticipated for a summer 2026 release, is expected to be a grand cinematic experience. ‘Karuppu’ will feature Suriya as a lawyer and boasts a diverse cast and crew, including music by Sai Abhyankkar and cinematography by GK Vishnu. Trisha’s strong presence in these diverse roles underscores her continued prominence in Indian cinema.
