In *Uppu Kappurambu*, Keerthy Suresh takes on a comedic role, showcasing her versatility. The film’s premise revolves around Apoorva, a village leader dealing with a shortage of burial spots, with guidance from her deceased father. Director Ani. I.V. Sasi attempts to extract humor from the grim reality of death, resulting in a film that oscillates between original and over-the-top. The film’s strength lies in Suresh’s performance, which blends elements of Chaplin and Yogi Babu. While the film has its shortcomings, Suresh’s portrayal of a quirky character is a definite highlight.
