He believes Kaushal naturally embodies these traits, making him a great actor for the role. ‘Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India,’ a musical sports drama, was released in 2001 and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film starred Gracy Singh opposite Aamir Khan, with supporting roles played by Suhasini Mulay, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Rajendranath Gupta, Raj Zutshi, and Dayashankar Pandey.
