New Delhi: The India Meteorological Division (IMD) predicted heavy rainfall in a number of areas of the nation on Friday saying a low-pressure space has fashioned over the northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Odisha in addition to Gangetic West Bengal coasts. 
The climate company forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at just a few locations with extraordinarily heavy rains at remoted locations over Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Most of east India and adjoining central India will witness widespread rainfall exercise with heavy to very heavy fall from Friday below the affect of the low stress space. 
The Met division stated in its bulletin, thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds (velocity reaching 30-40kmph) at remoted locations in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Telangana. 
Whereas lightning is predicted for Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, coastal Karnataka and Kerala and Mahe.
