Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a significant initiative for the youth of the country from the Red Fort. He declared the launch of the ‘PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana’ on August 15th, dedicating a ₹1 lakh crore scheme to the nation’s young people. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to those entering the workforce for the first time, with a provision of ₹15,000 to be provided by the government to young men and women upon securing their first job in the private sector. The objective is to generate over 3.5 crore jobs within the next two years.
