A high-stakes police action in Noida has led to the bust of a veteran theft outfit, with four arrests and the recovery of goods valued at ₹12 lakhs. On January 31, Phase-3 officers, tipped off about a meeting at Tipinagar Chowk, deployed electronic surveillance and ground intel for a flawless takedown.
The haul included 15 laptops snatched from corporate and personal stashes, four mobiles, and two bikes—hallmarks of the gang’s predatory raids across Delhi-NCR. Confessions painted a picture of ruthless efficiency: quick grabs, rapid sales at bargain rates, and equitable profit shares.
The apprehended—Aamir Khan (Kalu), Abhishek Kumar, Yogendra Chauhan (Lanka), and Arjun—are no strangers to crime. Aamir and Yogendra’s dossiers brim with NDPS cases and thefts, complemented by the duo’s involvement in similar escapades.
Forensic checks on the bikes and cross-referencing with databases could unlock a slew of cold cases. Charges are pressed, accomplices pursued, and community safety bolstered. Noida PD’s success story serves as a deterrent, reinforcing that crime doesn’t pay in this vigilant city.
