The death toll in the Vadodara bridge collapse has reached 13. The collapse of the bridge, which occurred on Wednesday, caused multiple vehicles to plunge into the Mahisagar River. Rescue teams are actively involved in searching for survivors and retrieving bodies. The state government has announced financial assistance for the victims’ families. The Chief Minister has also declared compensation for those injured. The collapse involved a portion of the bridge connecting Anand and Vadodara. Initial reports had confirmed nine fatalities, but the number has unfortunately increased as the rescue operations continue.
