Exit polls released following the high-stakes Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 suggest a commanding lead for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The state witnessed record-breaking voter participation across two phases, setting the stage for the November 14 vote counting. The consensus among pollsters points towards the NDA securing a substantial majority, with seat estimates frequently landing between 130 and 160. This forecast presents a significant hurdle for the Mahagathbandhan, an alliance spearheaded by the RJD, which is projected to win considerably fewer seats, typically in the range of 70 to 100. Early analyses suggest the NDA could garner around 46.2% of the vote share, outpacing the Mahagathbandhan’s estimated 37.9%. While Tejashwi Yadav has been a focal point for the opposition, Nitish Kumar’s enduring appeal appears to be a key factor favoring the NDA’s potential triumph in the Bihar elections.
