The recent acid attack in Jabalpur has unveiled the assailant as Ishita, a childhood friend of the victim, Shraddha Das. According to the police, Ishita harbored resentment towards Das due to her perceived beauty, academic achievements, and suspicion regarding a leaked video involving Ishita and her boyfriend. Ishita’s planning involved creating fake documents to purchase acid, which was initially denied by a shopkeeper. She then employed a friend, Ansh, to impersonate a professor and successfully acquire the acid. The attack took place on Sunday, resulting in serious injuries to Das, who is now hospitalized. Ishita has been arrested, and the search for Ansh continues as authorities investigate the incident.
