After a ten-month period of eluding authorities, social media personality Kirti Patel has been arrested in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in connection with a honeytrap and extortion case. The case, which originated in Surat with an FIR filed on June 2, involved accusations against Patel of entrapping a local builder, blackmailing him, and demanding a large sum of money. With 1.3 million followers on Instagram, Patel had been a fugitive, while four other co-accused were already in custody. The police employed sophisticated tracking methods, including monitoring location data and changing SIM cards, to locate her. The arrest took place in the Sarkhej area of Ahmedabad, as confirmed by police officials. The investigation revealed that Patel had allegedly demanded a ransom of 2 crore rupees from the builder involved in the case.
