In a significant move, the AIADMK party has ousted veteran leader KA Sengottaiyan from his posts. General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami issued an order on Saturday, stripping Sengottaiyan of his positions as District Organisation Secretary and District Secretary of the Erode Suburban West District. The official communication from the AIADMK confirmed the immediate removal of Sengottaiyan from these roles. Prior to this decision, Palaniswami convened with seven prominent party figures, including former ministers, in Dindigul to discuss the matter.
