Air India Ahmedabad Crash: Parliamentary Committee Demands Answers from Aviation Leaders and Boeing

In the wake of the Ahmedabad Air India plane crash, which tragically claimed the lives of more than 240 people, a Parliamentary Standing Committee has launched a comprehensive inquiry. The committee has called upon key figures in the aviation sector, including the Civil Aviation Secretary and Boeing executives, to provide explanations. The panel, chaired by Sanjay Jha, is focused on addressing critical issues such as safety protocols, regulatory failures, and overall flight operational procedures. Concurrently, the DGCA is conducting a safety audit of Air India’s fleet, including its Boeing Dreamliners, to ensure airworthiness and adherence to safety standards.
